WOOD-PELLET UNIT

The POLARIS hybrid combustion unit is designed with total accessibility in mind. The entire Wood-Pellet unit is mounted in a dedicated front-access compartment and can be removed as a single unit without tools or structural alteration to the fireplace.
This design approach offers three key benefits:
- Routine maintenance
The pellet feed system is maintained outside the fireplace, providing full access to all surfaces. This reduces time and eliminates the need for work in confined spaces.
- Inspection and monitoring
Thanks to its removable design, the unit can be inspected immediately, facilitating scheduled monitoring and reducing service costs over time.
- Parts replacement
If necessary, individual parts of the unit can be replaced without dismantling the installation. The fireplace will remain intact in its final position throughout the entire servicing process.
The removable unit is compatible with all front configurations and additional modules in the POLARIS range, with no functional limitations.
Pellet - Loading system
The POLARIS hybrid version offers three pellet loading modes, designed to suit different installation setups and daily usage patterns.
- Front loading — feed compartment
The simplest solution is front loading, where pellets are fed manually through the loading hatch at the front of the stove. This is ideal for those who prefer to manage the fuel without additional equipment. - Rear loading — connection pipe
Pellets are conveyed to the combustion unit via a connection pipe passing through the wall or structure. This solution allows the fuel handling system to be completely hidden, preserving the room’s aesthetics.
The rear pipe is compatible with three different feed sources:
- Loading hatch — a dedicated opening accessible from outside or an adjacent utility room for manual refuelling using a bag;
- External hopper — large-capacity storage container connected to the fireplace for greater autonomy and less frequent refuelling;
- The Home Easy Refill System — the most advanced solution that integrates POLARIS into an automated pellet refuelling system, allowing refuelling from outside the room where the fireplace is installed.

The POLARIS series fireplaces feature the exclusive elliptical bottom-fed burner, a technological revolution that combines maximum energy efficiency with the beauty of a traditional fire.

The unique elliptical geometry widens the base of the fire, generating a soft, warm, and diffused flame that faithfully recreates the visual effect of a real wood-burning fireplace.
- AUTOMATIC CLEANING
Forget about daily cleaning of the brazier. The pellets, introduced from the bottom up, push the ash and combustion residues out to the sides, ensuring continuous and clog-free operation.
- FUEL PREHEATING
Introducing the pellets from the bottom allows them to be preheated. This guarantees immediate ignition, optimal combustion, and a sharp reduction in fuel consumption and emissions.
